Good Times for A Good Cause - NACE Gives Back!

The theme for the April 1, 2009 meeting is "Good Times for a Good Cause:  NACE Gives Back!"  We will be collecting donations that will be packaged and sent to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.  There are lots of things that can be donated from food and beverages to games, puzzles, and chewing gum.

Click here to see a more detailed list of the items and read about the soldiers that will be receiving your gifts.  (Make sure you have the latest Adobe Reader.)

The meeting will be held at Austin Ranch  in Grapevine.  Austin Ranch is one of the oldest ranches in the state and dates back to the 1800s.  Once a hideout for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde, the family-0wned ranch has been a premier destination for corporate events, fund-raisers, and other gatherings for over 50 years.  Austin Ranch is only a stroll away from Grapevine Mills Mall and directly behind Hilton DFW Lakes.

We have a wonderful evening of food, fun, and networking planned so grab your donations and come join us.  See you there!

March Meeting Recap

The March meeting for the DFW chapter of NACE was held at The Studios at Las Colinas.   Catering was provided by Don Ross Nabb Productions.

The evening's topic was an engaging panel discussion about the hospitality industry; where it is, where it is going, the latest trends in food and beverage and how the economy is changing the way we do business.

As part of the March community services activities, attendees donated non-perishable food items to Jonathan's Place - a not-for-profit organization that depends on the generosity of the community to help give abused and neglected children the opportunity to be a child.

Here are a few photos from the evening:
