DFW NACE Supports Race for the Cure

With excitement building just 2 weeks before the big day, NACE - DFW Chapter asks for your support in joining our team or simply pledging a donation in its name! The NACE - DFW Chapter has accepted the challenge to raise funds to support he Komen North Texas Race for the Cure® on June 6, 2009 in the fight against breast cancer. This will be 1 of 2 local RACE for the CURE events we will participate in this year.

One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime and the more we raise, the more the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure can give back to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure.

NACE MAY Meeting: GOING GREEN GOING GREEN - the Myths & the Realities Join us for an educational evening that will begin with a GREEN EXPO during cocktail hour. Visit with representatives from various companies that are working to make our world better and see how they can help you make your home and business a little Greener! During dinner we will explore three different areas in helping to preserve our enviornment, the real truths about Going Green, the myths and some trends that aren't so helpful. There will be speakers covering recycling, organic & local produce and making events a little greener. We encourge you to take DART to the meeting or carpool as we work towards making the world a little Greener. Complimentary Self Parking in Cityplace garage. Do not park in Target Parking lot.
